Response to COVID-19

To keep La Quinta Country Club members, guests and staff as safe as possible, the Club will adhere to the state and local officials mandates and requirements as it pertains to COVID-19.

As of June 15, 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom terminated the executive orders that put into place the Stay Home Order and the Blueprint for a Safer Economy. The new public health order effective June 15 has limited restrictions, only related to masking and mega-events, as well as settings serving children and youth pending an expected update to the K-12 schools guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Restrictions that ended on June 15 include:
  -  Physical distancing
  -  Capacity limits on businesses
  -  County tier system

California has now changed its mask requirements to match the CDC’s Guidance:
  -   Vaccinated people do not need to wear masks in most circumstances
  -   Unvaccinated people should wear masks in indoor, public settings

Founded in 1959, La Quinta Country Club members enjoy a rich heritage other clubs only dream of possessing. Most people are drawn here by golf and quickly fall in love with the beautiful desert ambiance and camaraderie among members. Although the spectacular golf and weather are the initial attraction to our club, genuine respect and interest in each other is the foundation that binds our special membership.

Today, La Quinta Country Club members socialize in a sprawling Santa Barbara style clubhouse with spacious dining areas, beautifully appointed locker rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and much more. Members enjoy excellent dining, social gatherings, golf leagues and tournaments and a calendar filled with activities.
